1. Introduction

Insure.law is a trading name of Pennine Kennedy Solicitors. Pennine Kennedy Solicitors is controlled by Pennine Kennedy Limited through which it carries out its business (“Pennine Kennedy Solicitors”).  Pennine Kennedy Limited is registered in England and Wales with number 07786107 and is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA ID 646145). Its registered office and principal place of business are at 450 Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 0BQ. The firm’s VAT number is: 293 6921 65.

• Scope of Service

• Eligibility:We provide legal advice exclusively to individuals, sole traders, and small partnerships, acting as consumers under UK law.

• Advisory Services: Our services cover the following areas: ABODE: Property Law Services, FORTE: Litigation and Drafting Services and LEGACY: Wills and Probate Services

•  Contacting Us: Phone: We aim to connect you to a specialist legal adviser immediately. If unavailable, a callback will be arranged.  Email: Send a summary of your case (up to 1,000 words) to info@insure.law. We will reply within three working days. Do not include attachments or additional documents.

• Limitations of Service: Our advice is based solely on the information you provide. Ensure accuracy and completeness to receive effective guidance.

• Subscription Terms

• Joining Fee: A one-off joining fee may apply when you first subscribe.
• Monthly Subscription Fee: You agree to pay the monthly fee listed on the Insure.Law website. The subscription renews monthly unless cancelled as outlined in Section 6.
• Payment Methods:Payments can be made via credit/debit card, direct debit, or continuous payment authority. If your payment fails, no contract will be formed.
• Price Changes:We will notify you at least six weeks in advance of any price change. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the increase takes effect.
• Changes to Terms: We may revise these terms for legal, regulatory, or service-related reasons. Adverse changes will be communicated with at least four weeks’ notice, allowing you to cancel immediately if affected.

• Membership Benefits

Subscribers who commit to a minimum subscription period of 12 months from the date of purchase shall be entitled to the following benefits:

• A 30-minute consultation with a legal expert each month to address any legal concerns.
•  A 20% discount on standard hourly legal fees.
•  A 10% discount on fixed-fee legal services.
• These benefits are provided as part of our cost-effective legal solutions package and are contingent upon the subscriber maintaining their subscription in good standing for the full 12-month period.

• Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Rights:

• Cancellation Within the First 14 Days: You may cancel your subscription within the first 14 days of joining the Service.

Refunds:You are entitled to a full refund of the joining fee (if applicable) and the first month’s subscription payment, provided you have not requested or received legal advice from us during this period. If you have requested and received legal advice before the 14-day period expires: The agreement becomes non-cancellable for a period of 12 months. No refund will be provided for that 12-month period.

• Cancellation After the First 14 Days: You may notify us of your intent to cancel your subscription at any time and for any reason. Effective Date of Cancellation: Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the subscription month in which you notify us unless you have requested and received legal advice during this time. Legal Advice Received: If you have requested and received legal advice after the first 14 days, the agreement becomes non-cancellable for a period of 12 months. No refund will be provided for that 12-month period.

• Immediate Cancellation:

• Cancellation Due to Conflict of Interest: If we inform you that we are unable to provide advice due to a conflict of interest: Within the First 14 Days: You will receive a full refund of your joining fee and monthly subscription payment if you have not received any legal advice from us. After 14 Days: The agreement cannot be terminated for 12 months, and no refund will be provided.
• Cancellation Due to Adverse Changes or Breach by Us: If we: Make a change to your subscription that affects you adversely, or Commit a serious breach of these terms and conditions: Within the First 14 Days: You will receive a full refund of your joining fee (the joining fee is otherwise non-refundable). You will also receive a full refund of your monthly subscription payment if no legal advice has been provided. After 14 Days: The agreement cannot be terminated for 12 months, and no refund will be provided.

• Misuse of Service and Breaches

• Misuse: We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you misuse our services.
• Breach by You:bIf you seriously breach these terms, your subscription may be terminated without refund.
• Breach by Us: If we breach these terms, you may cancel and claim a refund under the cancellation clause.

• Complaints and Disputes

• Complaints Procedure: If dissatisfied, contact us to follow our complaints process. We aim to respond within 10 working days.
• Regulatory Bodies: Complaints about regulated advisers can be made to the relevant regulatory body (SRA, BSB, or CILEx).

• Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR):
• Disputes can also be resolved via the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.

• Regulatory Compliance

• Regulated Firm: Pennine Kennedy Solicitors are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
• Professional Indemnity Insurance: We maintain insurance to meet SRA requirements, protecting clients in case of error or negligence.
